Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using Memory Spine ("Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

2. Description of Service

Memory Spine provides hash-chained memory storage for AI agents via API. The Service includes storage, retrieval, and verification of memory entries.

3. Account Registration

You must provide accurate information when creating an account. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your API keys.

4. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Use the Service for illegal purposes
• Attempt to circumvent rate limits or quotas
• Store content that violates third-party rights
• Reverse engineer or attempt to extract source code
• Resell access without authorization

5. Data Ownership

You retain ownership of all data you store. We claim no ownership rights over your content. You grant us a limited license to store and process your data solely to provide the Service.

6. Service Levels

We target 99.9% uptime for paid tiers. Free tier is provided as-is with no SLA. We may suspend free accounts inactive for 90+ days.

7. Payment

Paid plans are billed monthly. Refunds are not provided for partial months. We may change pricing with 30 days notice.

8. Termination

Either party may terminate at any time. Upon termination, you may export your data within 30 days. After 30 days, data may be deleted.

9. Limitation of Liability

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS". WE ARE NOT LIABLE FOR INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY IS LIMITED TO FEES PAID IN THE PRIOR 12 MONTHS.

10. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Colorado, USA.

11. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
